Know what their needs are.

What appeals to them and when? What are they doing in the time you’re planning to post your content? They may be preparing for a long day, taking a mid-work lunch break, or relaxing at home. What you post and when you post it can have a huge impact on whether or not your message is read, and how receptive your audience is to your message when they read it.

Know how to appeal to them.

Create an emotional connection to fulfill a physical need. Appeal to their wants and they’ll find a need for it. No one actually needs the new iPhone or a bigger TV, but they’ll buy it if they can visualize the improvement it will bring to their life. Sell the sizzle, not the steak.
